The Black-tailed Hairy Dwarf Porcupine, Sphiggurus melanurus, is a South American porcupine species from the family Erethizontidae.[2] It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela.
